Delicious and easy-to-make cabbage rolls filled with turkey bacon that the whole family will love.

Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Blanch cabbage leaves in boiling water until soft, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crisp. Remove and chop.
  4. Sauté onion and garlic in the same skillet until translucent.
  5. Mix cooked rice, chopped bacon, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika in a bowl.
  6. Place a spoonful of the mixture onto each cabbage leaf and roll tightly.
  7. Place rolled cabbage in a baking dish and cover with tomato sauce.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, replace turkey bacon with mushrooms.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
