  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour, sugar, salt, spices, butter, and egg to the yeast mixture, then knead until smooth.
  3. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Roll out dough and spread butter, then sprinkle sugar and cinnamon mixture.
  6. Roll up the dough and cut into slices.
  7. Place slices on a baking sheet and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
