  • 1 pound chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, add the chicken thighs and cover with chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
  3. Remove the chicken, shred it, and set aside.
  4. Add carrots, celery, and onion to the pot. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and melted butter to make a dough.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough into the simmering broth, covering with a lid.
  7. Cook for 15 minutes, then add the shredded chicken back to the pot.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
