  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups diced cooked chicken
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  2. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  3. Add in diced cooked chicken, carrots, celery, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in egg noodles and continue to cook for about 5 minutes until noodles are al dente.
  5. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream and crumbled turkey bacon. Heat through.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!
