- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups diced cooked chicken
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add in diced cooked chicken, carrots, celery, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in egg noodles and continue to cook for about 5 minutes until noodles are al dente.
- Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream and crumbled turkey bacon. Heat through.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
