- 8 ounces lasagna noodles
- 6 slices turkey bacon
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 24 ounces marinara sauce
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- Press the sauté button on the Instant Pot and add the turkey bacon. Cook until crispy, then remove and chop.
- Add olive oil, onion, and garlic to the pot. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Add ground beef or turkey to the pot and cook until browned.
- Stir in marinara sauce, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, and diced tomatoes.
- Break the lasagna noodles into quarters and add them to the pot.
- Close the lid and set to manual, cooking on high pressure for 5 minutes.
- Quickly release the pressure, then stir in the ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, and the chopped bacon.
- Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, and let it melt before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes.
- You can substitute the turkey bacon with regular bacon if preferred.
