- 1 pound dried red beans
- 4 cups water
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 ounces turkey bacon, diced
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups cooked rice
- Rinse and sort the red beans, then add them to the slow cooker.
- Pour in the water and add the bay leaves, onion, celery, bell pepper, garlic, turkey bacon, Cajun seasoning, black pepper, and salt.
