A delightful and easy recipe for a Spicy Salmon Sushi Bake that offers a twist on traditional sushi.

  • 1 cup sushi rice
  • 1 pound salmon fillet
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions and let it cool.
  3. In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise and Sriracha sauce.
  4. Spread the cooked rice in a baking dish evenly.
  5. Layer the salmon fillet over the rice.
  6. Spread the Sriracha mayonnaise evenly on top of the salmon.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through.
  8. Garnish with sliced avocado, diced cucumber, and sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add more Sriracha to the mayonnaise.
  • Can substitute crab or shrimp if preferred.
