  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces egg noodles

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in sliced mushrooms and cook until they are tender.
  4. In a bowl, mix flour with a little beef broth to create a slurry. Add to the skillet.
  5. Pour in the remaining beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika. Stir well.
  6. Simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
  7. Reduce heat and stir in sour cream. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Meanwhile, cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and toss with the stroganoff.
